Our favorite oil-baron-turned-wind-power-wildcatter, T. Boone Pickens, will make the first down payment this month on 500 wind turbines for his plan to build the world’s largest wind farm in Texas, says the Guardian. Over the next four years, Pickens plans to build 2,700 wind turbines that would supply 4,000 megawatts — enough to power 1 million homes.

What is the name of the Word’s Largest Wind Farm’s name? What is the name of the new company? And what is the company’s code on Wall Street? We want to back this company to take America out of the foreign oil addiction.

I have totally subscribed to T Boone’s plan. I grew up driving vehicles powered by propane and in a geographical location that always had the wind (Nebraska). These two simple approaches gets us so close to energy independence and enviromental stewartship that we would be foils not to follow suit. I have researched vehicle conversion processes and the cost is less than $600 to complete the process. I’m looking for like minded individuals who will put their $ where their mouth is and find a way to make this happen sooner rather than later. I’m 43 years old and will be damned if I allow our overreaching corporate world to destroy the destiny of our children. If anyone is interested in furthering our cause please call me on my cell phone.
